The Founders’ War Saga has begun in Marvel Contest of Champions (MCoC), setting the stage for a climactic showdown in the ongoing Eidol storyline. As the game enters its spooky season, the fate of the Battlerealm hangs in the balance against a new and powerful threat.

The Climax: Imperiosa Arrives and the Founders’ War Saga Begins

The Eidols—original characters to MCoC who are central to the history of the Battlerealm’s “Founders”—have been introduced throughout the year, including Isophyne, Lumatrix, and Solvarch. The saga is now culminating with the arrival of the ultimate Eidol:

  • The New Threat: Imperiosa is making her debut, heralded as the pinnacle of Eidol creation, embodying the combined genius of every Founder who ever lived. Her arrival marks the beginning of the Founders’ War Saga, which runs from October 8th to January 7th, 2026.
  • The Chase: The chase for Imperiosa is on, as players can collect “Invade Essence” throughout the saga to acquire this new champion.

October Horror: Dracula, Franken-Castle, and The Hunger

In addition to the main saga, the Contest is embracing the Halloween spirit with classic horror characters and a community-decided realm event:

  • New Champions: Dracula (Mystic) and Franken-Castle (Skill) are joining the roster, bringing their macabre might to the Contest.
  • Event Quest: The new Event Quest, “Children of The Night,” features a strange long dusk falling over the Contest, with Count Dracula seeking help for other creatures in crisis.
  • Hunger & Cure Realm Events: A Hunger Virus has afflicted the Battlerealm. Players must choose a side—Cure or Hunger—and their collective actions will determine the outcome of the Realm Event. The winning side will influence the Event Quest buffs and unlock a special Relic Selector Pool for the community.

Summoners have plenty of content to sink their teeth into this October, from the epic conclusion of the Eidol saga to a spooky, community-driven event.
